Paintings, Werthers originals and Murder She Wrote
I have been painting a piece I have wanted to do for ages. It is inspired by a recent trip up the road to a local village called Coedpoeth in Wrexham, North Wales. It is really hilly and has many winding roads. The houses are mainly sandstone (I think), sandy colours turning brown and darkest cocoa. They are so pretty and are very picturesque. The village gardens are so well kept and are blooming. It isn't a grand place but a village of workers and families. The main street has a little cake shop and a fish and chip shop. OOhhh an two pubs! So the basics are certainly covered!
When I returned home my creative juices began to flow. Here is the result! A lovely acrylic painting on canvas with collage houses.
I enjoyed the process and am pleased with the results. So it is now hanging in my bathroom whilst I take a step back and think aboutt additional changes.
On the relaxing angle of life I have been watching Murder She Wrote like a loon! EEEEE its great! I have been eating Werther Originals (toffee sweets) yum, while I watch it. There's nothing like a god murder as my mum says! Off to watch another!

I love the little houses and appreciate your artist's eye in absorbing the details about what you see and then interpreting them in your painting.
Murders, fictional of course, are ever so much fun. Sometimes I wonder if that says something odd about me. I enjoy Murder She Wrote, too, as well as reading mystery books.
Thanks a lot sweetie xxx
